Anyone have any tips for me to get the of protein i need?Anyone have tips for protein in a vegan diet?
That's definitely not going to be a problem unless you are anorexic or eat nothing but Twinkies.
Bread, pasta, rice, beans, peas, lentils, nuts and seeds are all great sources of protein. If you eat three whole meals a day or more, there is no possibility that you'll be deficient in protein.
No, salad does not count as a meal and it is not a good source of protein either.

tofu and avocados
Protein is not usually a problem for vegans as long as we eat a healthy, varied diet!
As well as nuts... beans, legumes, grains, tofu and more are all fantastic sources of protein.
The following site contains a great list of foods and their protein content:

tofu all the way.
its tasteless so add it into meals, and if you dont like the taiste cut it up small.
Humans need protein to be healthy... it doesn't have to be an animal source of protein. There are so many readily available plant based protein sources, like soy milk, mushrooms, beans, tofu etc.
Type of food Quantity providing 10g protein (g)
Soya flour 24
Peanuts 39
Pumpkin seeds 41
Almonds 47
Brazil Nuts 50
Sunflower seeds 51
Sesame seeds 55
Hazel Nuts 71
Wholemeal bread 95
Whole lentils dried %26amp; boiled 114
Chickpeas dried %26amp; boiled 119
Kidney beans dried %26amp; boiled 119
Wholemeal spaghetti boiled 213

Girls

15-18yrs = 45 g
Women
19-50 yrs = 45 g
50 + yrs = 46.5 g
As you can see from the list above getting that 55 grams is quite easy on a plant based diet.

Also here is a list of vegies with protien. They are ordered by highest levels of protien.

Good vegan sources of protein include black beans, fake meats, garbanzo beans (chickpeas), kidney beans, lentils, lima beans, peanut butter, pinto beans, soybeans, soymilk, sunflower seeds, and tofu.
Also, protein deficiencies are extremely rare in developed countries. You can easily get enough protein by eating a normal variety of fruits, veggies, beans, and grains.
I'm getting sick and tired of this same question being asked over and over and over, please do a "Search for questions" because this must be asked about 4 times per day.
If you are nervous, talk to a doctor. Maybe he/she can get you a protien supplement. If you plan not to take a visit to the clinic any time soon, you can stay healthy by eating a varied diet.
Personally, I hate granola bars too. I did however find a delicious recipe for granola that is high in protien and super healthy and vegan! I mix my granola with strawberries and other fruits. If you want the recipe, email me.
almost all vegan burgers and chik'n are PACKED with protein!
eat tofu too.
The only tip I have is to eat plant based high protien foods such as spirulina, quinoa, buckwheat, hempseed, and amaranth, %26amp; soy products such as soybeans, edamame, tofu, tempeh, and miso. Other great sources of protien include lentils, seitan (wheat gluten), TVP, nuts %26amp; seeds (almond, cashew, walnuts, cashews, brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts, pecans, filberts, peanuts nuts, sesame, sunflower, flax, hemp, pumpkin seeds), beans, (black, lima, pinto, kidney, navy, baked, split peas, chickpeas, fava, mung, pink), grains (barley, cornmeal, brown rice, millet, oatmeal, rye, bulgur, whole wheat bread, wheat germ, wheat, wild rice, spelt, teff, triticale, whole wheat berries, whole wheat couscous), vegtables (raw seaweed, raw spirulina, artichokes, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, green peas, green pepper, kale, lettuce, mushrooms, mustard green, onions, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, turnip greens, watercress, yams, zucchini, potato), fruits (apple, banana, cantaloupe, grape, grapefruit, honeydew melon, orange, papaya, peach, pear, pineapple, strawberry, tangerine, watermelon), nutritional yeast, soy milks and other plant milks, pulses, meat substitutes (such as Boca, Gardenburger, Tofurkey, Lightlife, Morningstar, Yves, etc).
