Is it possible to eat a vegan diet as a marine?

I imagine that a lot depends on where one is stationed, but my question refers to boot camp etcIs it possible to eat a vegan diet as a marine?
no. at most you can eat vegetarian. you may have no choice as to your Protein options. Is it possible to eat a vegan diet as a marine?
Ok so if your are a vegan you are trying to reduce the amount of animals that are killed for food/clothing and you are going into a profession that you will almost certainly be put into harms way and you will be required to shoot/kill/maim other people. and yes it may be possible to eat the way you choose if you are a captain but if you are just a grunt you eat what the cook cooks you, you don't just walk up the counter in the mess hall and order a nice salad with wheat grass juice, no you put out your tray and he puts what ever is hot on it. and most vegans I know of scoff at wearing leather shoes or belts or jackets, and guess what, if your in the marines rifle slings are made of leather, belts are made of leather, boots are made of leather, so to answer your question. Only if you are an officer. Is it possible to eat a vegan diet as a marine?
Not even close. When you are in the field and deployed you will either have to eat MREs or die, and there are no vegan MREs although there are vegetarian MRES, and well, I would rather die than eat those. Is it possible to eat a vegan diet as a marine?
My brother is a captain in the Army and he is a vegan. He manages.
