I'm looking for a job at a national park for the summer and need one that can at least sustain a vegetarian lifestyle. Any help is appreciated, thank you.Are there any National Parks that offer jobs that include housing and can sustain a vegetarian or vegan diet?
You need to buy your own food at all but the most remote of these places. Getting vegetables, grains and fruits should not be a problem. Worse case, you end up eating out of a lot of cans and bags of dried beans. Are there any National Parks that offer jobs that include housing and can sustain a vegetarian or vegan diet?
Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Tetons, and Grand Canyon have lodging, along with a few others, but you will have to get your own food unless you want to pay mucho money for the overpriced tourist trap restaurants and markets located in the park. Are there any National Parks that offer jobs that include housing and can sustain a vegetarian or vegan diet?
good for you, this sounds like a good idea, you might also just take a lot of stuff with you and could always have family send you moreAre there any National Parks that offer jobs that include housing and can sustain a vegetarian or vegan diet?
there are plenty of grocery stores and small markets with produce around national parks... so i wouldn't think it would be hard to be a vegitarian/vegan and work for a national park
Alot of vegetarian/vegan foods can come dried or in cans so if they don't just stock up each time you go near shops :)
