How did nick diaz get so big on a vegan diet?

I'm a big fan but I was amazed as he usually walks around at 150lbs and at the weigh ins he was a solid 180lbs!



How do yet so big eating plant food lol?How did nick diaz get so big on a vegan diet?
He's a big guy. He doesn't usually walk around at 150lbs, in fact he struggles to fight at 160 because he is so big, its hard for him to cut enough weight.



In a recent interview he said a few days before the frank shamrock fight that he was 190, and in past years when running triathlons he has been around 200lbs.



He has also said in interviews that his brother is actually bigger than him, but he is able to lose the weight and get down to 155, whereas nick can barely cut to 160.



His future in mma is probably at 170 or maybe 185.How did nick diaz get so big on a vegan diet?
Textured vegetable protein is a highly processed, unhealthy food. Check out Woods' WHOLE FOOD ENCYCLOPEDIA. But you can get perfectly sufficient amount of protein from a vegan diet. I personally believe in at least some animal protein, though. But anybody should be eating mostly grains, legumes, nuts, fruits and vegetables, especially a pro athlete.



He doesn't usually walk around at 150, either. He has fought at 160, also 170, 180, etc. I would guess he walks around at about 175 to 180 most of the time.How did nick diaz get so big on a vegan diet?
Having been a vegan for 10 years and being a very solid 200 lbs 5' 7 person, I can tell you that most non vegans are confused or have some sort of silly comdedian version of how they think a vegan should look.



We aren't 98 pound weaklings with yellow skin who will blow over in a stiff breeze.



There are almost endless varieties of vegitable textured protiens available.



Most Carnivores get way too much protien as it is; 80 grams should be sufficient for the average adult per day.



Danzig is also a vegan, he isn't a pushover either.



In almost every sport (including body building) there are vegan examples which blow away all of the silly prejudices.How did nick diaz get so big on a vegan diet?
animal meat gets all its nutrients from plants whether they eat meat or not it eventually comes down to plants nutrients.

a vegetarian diet is more healthier then eating meat, you can get all your protein from vegetables, if you eat smart.
