What to eat on a vegan non-carb diet?

I've been a vegan for a while now, however have recently put on a lot of weight due to eating too many carbs (especially late at night) and not exercising enough.

I feel starting a temporary non-carb diet will help with my weight loss.

Can anyone suggest some meals i can make myself? (Keeping in mind i'm vegan).

Also i am in Australia, so it wont be too helpful to mention international brands.

Thanks a lot! What to eat on a vegan non-carb diet?
I'm not trying to convert anyone to being a meat eater only health conscious. Starches, sugar, fruit do not promote weight loss, they do promote weight gain. As a vegan you need to be vigilant to meeting your protein requirements. I have major concerns about soy products effecting thyroid health. If you could add eggs or low carb whey protein to your diet, that would solve a multitude of problems.

I would suggest you convert your diet to more of a fat based (mainly coconut oil %26amp; olive oil) diet with much more low glycemic vegetables. Stay vigilant about meeting your protein requirements but try to keep your carbs %26lt;9grams per hour. I would suggest not eating many starches that don't significantly contribute to protein requirements. Significantly increase your consumption of nuts (peanuts are a legume not a nut - peanuts are fine, just realize the difference), flax seeds, chia seeds, spirulina.

Simple carbohydrates (sugar, flour, bread, cereal, pasta, potatoes, rice) trigger insulin which can store the calories eaten into fat. The more protein the more the fat burning hormone glucagon is released. The more carbohydrate the more the fat storage hormone insulin is released.

High insulin levels promote inflammation, weight gain, hunger %26amp; unbalance other hormones. Controlling insulin levels will balance out other hormones %26amp; allow human growth hormone (HGH) to be produced naturally so lean muscle will be gained even without exercise. Any exercise will greatly increase muscle mass with high HGH levels.

You have chosen a way of eating that needs you to know a great deal about nutrition and how the body processes foods. I wouldn't try to dissuade you but encourage you to educate yourself fully. Weight gain is a symptom of a problem, not the problem.

I would highly suggest chia seeds - 3.5 oz is nearly 500 calories, half calories from fat (high in Omega3 fatty acids) %26amp; 16grams of COMPLETE protein for 6grams carbs %26amp; 63% DV Calcium. Spirulina is also a good complete vegetarian protein.

Don't completely cut out carbs, they are the only energy your brain can use. Cut out the crappy carbs like white flour, white sugar, and white rice because these provide no nutrients and turn into sugar in your bloodstream. Brown rice and whole wheat pasta and bread is really good for you, just don't go overboard. Just load up on veggies, eat a moderate amount of fruit and beans, and treat yourself to some complex carbs every now and then (even oatmeal and quinoa, yum). Stay away from junk food for awhile, and keep a journal of your caloric intake (it can be surprising how much you actually eat in a day). Be picky about what you eat, if it won't benefit you and make you feel good, don't eat it. I know I didn't really answer your question, but seriously, don't cut out the carbs!!! They really are good for you, they've just gotten such a bad rap over the years from things like "Atkins" where you can eat a pound of bacon but you can't have an apple because it has carbs lol. What to eat on a vegan non-carb diet?
If you are a vegan then a low carb diet is probably not the best diet for you. But a few things you can eat is poultry, fish, eggs, cheese , nuts,....unless those are off limits too . Low carb diets work best for people who enjoy eating high protein foods including meat...What to eat on a vegan non-carb diet?
I live on a low carbs diet (Keto). I mainly have olive oil and protein powder.
I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.
