With fruits and veggies only, little amounts of nuts and seeds due to there acididy. Is it possible to build significant muscle on a raw vegan diet?
from my experience as a vegan (still am, mostly) i centainly didnt lose any. but also definitely did not gain any, as far as i could tell. i dropped a ton of time in running, but that might have been because i am a newish runner. add some vegan protein like tofu, beans, and legumes like lentils. vegetables like broccoli have protein too. don't only eat fruits and vegetables though, its not realistic and you wont be getting all the nutrients you need.
i also lost about 5 pounds after switching, and i wasnt overweight to start with so i'm pretty sure i didn't gain muscle. i also worked out at least an hour and a half almost daily. Is it possible to build significant muscle on a raw vegan diet?
You need protein and more of it than you get from nuts and berries.Get some chicken, lean beef, tuna, turkey, and salmon. Is it possible to build significant muscle on a raw vegan diet?
Yes, if you work out alot. It is best to take raw vegan protein powder though.
