I wonder if bread is allowed in the Vegan diet?

I am a Fruitarian Rawfoodist and I am not pleased with my diet. I was thinking switching to a Vegan diet. Thanks.I wonder if bread is allowed in the Vegan diet?
Yes, bread is allowed, BUT you have look at the ingredients/label still. Some manufacturers put milk products in their breads, and egg whites on the outside of some bagels. I go for the sprouted wheat products, such as Alvarado and Ezekiel, which is easier to digest than straight red or white wheat (being that you are coming from a rawfood and fruit only diet and need to have a more digestible form of wheat - it will still be hard to digest since it is cooked).

You are not pleased with the raw food diet/fruitarian? How long have you tried it? Have you even given it 3 months yet? Did you start being rawfood right from being an omnivore? You will need to give your body time to cleanse and adjust to the new nutrients that it is now getting. Try and hang in there for the full 3 months if you can, you could just be at the slump part of the change (and yes, boredom of food that you are eating happens to all of us - even omnivores (chicken or beef? chicken or beef?)). There is manna out there for rawfoodist to eat (not so fruitarian) which is pretty good tasting bread. I wonder if bread is allowed in the Vegan diet?
why would bread not be allowed? the basic of life??

get a bread machine and make the fresh home made whole grain....

can always find a bread machine at the thrift shop at low cost....
cool. although you may want to switch back to rawfoodist when you're older to prevent cancer.

there is plenty of vegan bread. just look for parve or pareve on the label.I wonder if bread is allowed in the Vegan diet?
yes. i'm vegan and i eat bread. some breads are not made with eggs and milk. white bread has milk and eggs. eat whole grain
You can eat bread but you have to look at the contents that it's made of. I would say whole grain or rye. I wonder if bread is allowed in the Vegan diet?
You have to check the ingredients and make sure there is no whey or honey in the bread. I make my own bread and it's absolutely delectable!
