I am now more sensitive to the whether. Is it my changing diet, or am I just crazy?I changed to a vegan diet from vegetarian and I seem to be cold all the time. Is this normal?
Get a warm steak in your belly. That's cure what ails you.I changed to a vegan diet from vegetarian and I seem to be cold all the time. Is this normal?
It could be that you need more iron in your diet. Are you eating fresh dark greens like spinach, and are you supplementing with iron. You need B-Vitamins and flax oil for the omegas. Your thyroid might be under, or hypo-active, causing you to feel cold.
If this persists, talk to your doctor or health professional and consider a full blood workup and thyroid testing just to be accurately informed.
It's your health and your body, so don't guess.
I am vegan 10 years, veg 25 years.
I love it knowing I am healthy and am not contributing to the cruel and inhumane treatment of animals, as well as being kinder to the planet Earth.
Stay the course, but find out from your health professional why you are feeling cold.
It is possible you are missing a essential nutrient in your diet. It's hard to say if you don't tell us what you eat. YOu might go back to vegetarian for several months to see if things change. You might be able to find places that humanely treat chickens and cows to get your milk and eggs.I changed to a vegan diet from vegetarian and I seem to be cold all the time. Is this normal?
Have you lost weight? This also happened to me a few months after I went vegan because my body was losing fat and therefore didn't have as much insulation against the cold. Remember to get enough protein and good fats in your diet! And bundle up!
might be because you aren't eating enough food.
or maybe you need more warm foods or more fat in your diet.
i just watched a video where the vegan said the things i mentioned about being a vegan and the colder part of the year.I changed to a vegan diet from vegetarian and I seem to be cold all the time. Is this normal?
Pancakes, that is what helps me.
That and Malt-O-Meal. Plenty of pancakes and MaltOMeal.
Maybe you're not eating as much fat? Eat avocados, nuts, flax and sunflower seeds, olive and coconut oil.
i would say the later. How can you resist a piece of juicy, slab of meat. MmmmmMmm!
