Starting Monday I'm becoming a vegan. I'm not a poser I honestly have my reasons. what are some nice websites with vegan diet recipes and how to stick to it? Right now to get my appetite away I look at how they treat animals in slaughter houses. What are some other tips? How to start vegan diet?
Good stuff.
A few good websites...
http://whyveg.com/recipes/ - good recipes
http://whyveg.com/ref - a good start to looking into the way animals are farmed, with good referenced info - scroll down and click on the "jump to page" links
http://www.vegsoc.org.au/forum_active.as鈥?/a> - good place to get answers to questions or advice
http://www.vegansociety.com/become-a-veg鈥?/a> - lots of information about many aspects of veganism, including healthy eating
Best tip is to make sure you have your nutritional needs met, and that you're still eating enough food, so you don't feel hungry or dissatisfied, or get sick. Also learn to cook, and seek out interesting new foods and recipes to try. That way you won't feel (or be) deprived, so can happily stay vegan without effort.
The basis of a vegan diet is to eat a good selection of foods from all the vegan food groups: fruits, vegetables, grains and grain-based foods (wholegrains are best), legumes and legume-based foods, nuts and seeds. Also a vegan needs a source of B12. That's the basis of a healthy vegan diet, if you remember to eat regularly from all these food groups you should be fine. You can add various condiments, herbs, spices, and other ingredients, and of course look for recipes for interesting and tasty ways of putting ingredients together. Also avoid too much junk, such as sugar, refined carbs, deep fried stuff, coffee, smoking, etc, which can be vegan but not healthy in large amounts.
Good luck with it :)How to start vegan diet?

This website is so helpful to new vegans. It has so many recipes, and most of them are fairly simple.
If you ever have the urge to eat an animal product, just remember your reasons for being vegan, and that should be enough.
If you feel like you need a replacement for the foods you no longer eat, I suggest smartground soy crumbles. They are really good, and the resemblance to ground beef is striking. Even my brother likes it when I make tacos with it and he is almost a carnivore. lol.
also try boca brand chik'n patties and veggie burgers. Most boca brand are vegan, but make sure you read the ingredients because many brands contain milk and eggs.
Almond milk is great, and silk makes a soy coffee creamer.
Make sure you are eating well and planning you diet accordingly, and you will be just fine and very healthy. How to start vegan diet?

Good luck on going vegan. Make sure you get all the nutrients you need, most of which you can get from vegan sources. If you have the urge to eat meat or dairy, you might want to buy vegan substitutes: Boca, Morningstar, and gardenburger are good brands.
take full diet.
