What are the benefits of feeding my cat a vegan diet?

I'm getting a kitty. What are the benefits of feeding my cat a vegan diet?
NONE - cats REQUIRE meat - w/o it they can get very sick and die. Meat contains taurine - not found in plants. So if you cannot feed your cat a proper meat diet, then get a rabbit for a pet. What are the benefits of feeding my cat a vegan diet?
benefits? what benefits?
youre depriving your cat of protein, an essential for cats health. and no, this can not be provided in supplements or other methods. cats are carnivorous and NEED meat. eggs are also very healthy for them.
to make your cat a vegan is just wrong. there will be many health risks/defects, (s)he will not get any proper nutrients or protein, (s)he will never eat a proper meal, (s)he will be very unhealthy.
please, to make a cat vegan is a TERRIBLE idea. if youre 100% for going vegan with an animal, get a guinea pig, NOT a cat.
Do not do this!

Cats actually need more meats in their diets than dogs do, if you do not feed them a proper diet of cat food it will become sick because of the loss of nutrients and die. They need meat. If somone from the A.S.P.C.A found out you were feeding your cat a vegan diet they would take her away. Please feed her a diet of dry cat food, I hope you are adopting too. http://www.petfinder.com/What are the benefits of feeding my cat a vegan diet?
You will kill your cat!!! Cats are carnivores and cannot digest plant protein. If you feed your cat a vegan diet the first thing you will notice is that it won't like it, then it won't gain weight. Cats fed a vegan diet develop eye problems and blindness and will starve to death.
cat will die. Cats are carnivores. get a pet that is a natural vegan. Good luck. (cat will not eat vegan food and will starve itself or die of nutritional deficiency. Also this would be considered animal cruelty. What are the benefits of feeding my cat a vegan diet?
Practically none: In the wild, cats are carnivores. It makes no real sense for them to have one be a vegan, even a domesticated one.

Heck, my cat throws up if she eats grass. Probably should stick to the usual cat food.
None. It is cruel to force an unnatural diet on an obligate carnivore. If you feel this strongly about being a vegan choose a different pet.
There are none. You'd make it suffer a slow and painful death of malnutrition. Cats are obligate carnivores they can only digest meat anything else is not digested and goes right through.
None. Cats need meat.
