Can somebody give me an example of both a vegetarian and vegan diet for a dog?

I'm not saying it's right and I'm not asbout to stop giving my dog meat but I just want to see what these people who think that a dog doesn't need meat actually give them to eat each day.

Examples of both vegetarian and vegan diets if possible. Can somebody give me an example of both a vegetarian and vegan diet for a dog?
there isn't

common sense

dogs can't survive WITHOUT MEATCan somebody give me an example of both a vegetarian and vegan diet for a dog?
dogs dont eat vegan or vegetarian diets. The are carnivores. If you dont want to feed meat to an animal, dont own a dog.. get a rabbit or a guinea pig instead.

ADDED

There is no "examples" of a vegan or vegetarian diet for a dog because dogs are Carnivores.. I can give you a list of veggies and tell you thats a diet, but any way you slice or dice it, if there's no meat its still an innapropriate diet for a dog.
I really don't care for vegan diets for dogs at all,I feed mine grain-free high protein, but this is what I've heard some vegans feed their vegan dogs.

Vegetarian dog food

Beans

Soy meats

tofu

Peanut Butter

Canned pumpkinCan somebody give me an example of both a vegetarian and vegan diet for a dog?
Well obviously they give their dogs vegetables %26amp; hopefully they are at least smart enough to give the dog some form of protein, like all natural p-nut butter containing no sugar or an approved supplement.

I'm sorry I really don't have a specific answer because I LOVE meat %26amp; so do my dogs. Meat was put here for us to eat. I could not go a day without having meat on my plate, so I would certainly not deprive my dogs of it. They love chicken as much as I do. I find it pretty disturbing that some dog owners who are Vegans pass this way of eating onto their flesh eating dogs. I really could care less who that offends.

%26amp; I will support the first answer by saying if you want a "vegetarian" pet, go with a fwuffy wittle bunny wabbit.
Good grief. We go from RAW feeding of MEAT to completely VEGAN feeding!

Does anyone REALLY know?!!!!

Very confusing. Too many opinions not enough studies done for a substantial period of time to support either way. In my opinion. Can somebody give me an example of both a vegetarian and vegan diet for a dog?
I would never feed a dog a vegetarian diet... That's just so wrong. After all, they are carnivores.

This is what I've fed my dog for years, and he's in excellent health.

I'm sorry, but these commenters are ridiculously ignorant...

Animals need NUTRIENTS. Same as we do.

The source does not matter.

There ARE NO nutrients found only in meat.
theyve never to my knowledge and i just did a search come up with one.

i mean even human vegans cant live without V B12 which is beef.

sooooo they still eat it.

there is no such thing as a person that ONLY eats veggies if they have to take B12

humans are omnivores we are suppose to eat both ewhich is why we need b12.

i imagine if they made a dog food out of dried veggies the dog might actually eat it but that depends on:

1. taste

2. smell

3. texture

4. value

would they like 1-3? probably not

and there would be no value to it unless they added it with vitamins which would kind of defeat the purpose of vegan dog chow
