What to eat for protein in a vegan diet?

I am now cutting all animal products from my diet. What can i eat as a protein source? What to eat for protein in a vegan diet?
Hello and welcome to the world of veganism!

Getting protein in a vegan diet is exceptionally easy, so long as you eat whole foods- like whole grains, vegetables, beans (including tofu, which I've come to love!) fruits, nuts, seeds, and the like. Beans and nuts are especially high in protein, but whole grains tend to have quite a bit and, believe it or not, so do greens such as kale and spinach, and vegetables, like broccoli. I do not eat mock meats and my protein intake each day is about 150% of the RDI for my size and age. (That's about 75-80 grams of protein.)What to eat for protein in a vegan diet?
All whole foods have protein. It's virtually impossible to be protein deficient unless you are calorie deficient; unless of course you're eating nothing but Cheetos and Oreos.

Foods high in protein:

Beans: black beans, pinto beans, refried beans, lima beans, soy beans, garbonzo beans, etc.

Seeds: sunflower seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc.

Nuts: almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, walnuts, chestnuts, pistachios, pecans, etc.

Grains: Pasta, rice, quinoa, etc.

Vegetables: Even vegetables have protein. One potato has about 8 grams of protein.

By weight spinach has more protein than meat.
Everyone who answered u in someway is wrong. U need to find out what exactly u are allergic to. Cutting all animal products may not help u. Especially If it's a wheat or gluten allergin. But if u decide to vegan then things like nuts beans and other legumes. Olives and yes Tofu and other soy products. And eat all of the time. Because u are vegan u need to eat more than what u are probably used to, and a ballenced diet is very important too. Almost everyone I have meet doesnot do the vegan diet properly and ends up with nutritional deficiencies. So do some research and be careful. What to eat for protein in a vegan diet?
Everything has protein in it. Even cucumber.

I mean, yeah, it's like that.

Chickpeas black beans lentils peanuts/butter, almonds/butter soymilktofufava beans carrots potatoes rice. god this is asked SO MANY TIMES.

Can you not just google for a better answer? I mean, you're asking random people some of whom are mentally unstable and instead you can simply type google "vegan protein" and you'll find a list of foods you're already eating. Like bread.
You need to make sure you eat pulses at least three times a week and fruits and vegetables everyday.

Have a fruit for breakfast and a vegetable/pulses for lunch and dinner.

Make sure you include all vegetables, pulses, lentils and beans(kidney beans, chickpeas, black eyed peas, green peas and many more)

Don't eat mock meat as soybean as mock meat contains sodium and soybean is bad for health( http://rheumatic.org/soy.htm ).

Mock meat is also soy based so too much soy can be bad for health.

Actually even a little soy is bad for health.

What's wrong with soya?

Soy beans are naturally toxic to humans, but they're harmless when they go through a fermentation process, which is how we get tofu.

But soy is being used in more and more things these days.

Just look through your cabinet. You'll be surprised.

Anyway, most companies aren't putting their soy beans through this process because it takes too much time, and time = money.

Instead, they put it through a chemical process, but this rarely gets rid of the soy's toxicity completely.

Symptoms of a high soy diet are thyroid problems, breast cancer, and other complications.

People get these symptoms because they soy they eat isn't fermented.

Mock meat can never be part of a staple diet(food what you eat everyday).

You can may be have it once or twice a month.

Its a luxury and not a need.

You need to consume naturally occurring fruits, vegetables, pulses, nuts and grains.

Make something like rice and bread your staple diet.

You can have rice with vegetables for lunch and bread with pulses for dinner(or you can do it whichever way you like though that's the way I do it).

You can have fruits for breakfast besides something else. You will get all vitamins and minerals from fruits, vegetables, pulses and nuts.

Also, don't fall for the myth that says vegans/vegetarians need to take multivitamin supplements.

Vegans/vegetarians don't need to take supplements as they get all their nutrients from fruits, vegetables and pulses.

Supplements are supposed to be taken by people with deficiencies so do not take them unless they have been prescribed to you by a doctor.

Everything has some protein (except pure sugar, salt or oil), that is just what stuff is made from. But the richest vegan sources are beans, lentils, chickpeas, tofu, wholegrains, nuts and seeds.
well first u need to start out with a little red meat like a nice fawn deer they taste the best nice tender juicy that will add a little more protein to your diet
in my opinion is the best diet program
Nuts. Peanuts, almonds....avoid salted or roasted....cuz that adds unnecessary caloric intake.
Broccoli has more protein than steak
