What is the best energy source in a vegan diet?

I have recently become vegan and I always feel super tired! What could be happening? What is the best energy source in a vegan diet?
Try a bit of sublingual b12 with a morning and afternoon dose of 400 mcg folic acid (more is not better here).

B12 is a soil bacteria that we used to get from our veggies (and is how cows, pigs and chickens used to as well and still do if they are outside) but we've sterilized and exhausted our soils with artificial fertilizers so it's no longer alive with a soil web; we then essentially sterilize our foods. Taking a supplement is not a failure of the veg*n diet because the vast majority who are deficient of the vitamin are not veg*n (4 out 10 of the general population is lacking). B12 is much more responsible for anemia than iron is, however they need each other for proper oxygenation of red blood cells.

Folic acid is actually pretty easy to get from a fresh vegan diet and the government has mandated the supplementation flours and cereal (basically food wrapped pills) because it's so important especially for neural tube development in fetuses for example but also heart health and much more. This vitamin can mask a b12 deficiency but together they do great things for energy. However, do not take before bed as you may not sleep much or well.

You can get started on the two B vitamin regimens immediately without worries of harm since too much will just be passed out in the urine.

However, iron is another story and should wait for a doctor's confirmation after blood testing since iron can be overdone causing serious constipation as one of the first symptoms but also death. It's the most common cause of accidental poisoning in children as just a few pills can kill.

Might also add a vitamin D supplement as well. This vitamin is critical to many things beyond the uptake of calcium and resultant avoidance of rickets. It's lack is implicated in diabetes, MS, arthritis, depression, energy, muscle aches, restless leg syndrome and more. It's harder to convert this sunshine vitamin in the winter months especially if you live north of Atlanta (in the northern hemisphere) or have darker skin or consistently wear sunscreens (which are called for with some medicines).

No idea! Energy comes from plants. Try to add some raw veggies/fruits into your diet. like cantelope for breakfast or even a green salad.

Watch your protein make sure you are getting around 50 grams a day. or something close to that. Not like.. 12 g that would be really bad!
oh, also, to add on to that protein thing, try soy protein! there are a billion foods that have soy protein in them!! sometimes you've just gotta look closely!!What is the best energy source in a vegan diet?
Peanut butter.
The most likely answer is a lack of calories. Many people go vegan and they continue to eat the same mass of food as they did before, but since a vegan diet is usually higher in fiber, you need to eat more mass of food to get a similar number of calories.

Try eating more fruits, beans, and whole grains! What is the best energy source in a vegan diet?
not getting enough B-12

it helps if you take a B-complex vitamin one a day

B-12 ( a natural source of energy) can be gotten from things like cranberries, seaweed, some cereals, barley, and spinach (just a few)
Sweet Fruits

You are eating too much fat %26amp; cooked foods. Both steal your energy.
