So I'm attempting a Vegan Rawtarian Diet. I'd really like to stay on it for atleast 30 days, and then switch to a vegetarian lifestyle if I find it to hard to stay on. My question is "What are the benefits?" As in weight loss, acne, overall what can I expect?
Easy best answer. Thanks ppl. What are the benefits of being on a Vegan Rawtarian DIet?
A long term diet high in mostly fruits and vegetables is considered protective and curative for diseases like cancer or Alzheimer's, or actually, any disease at all.
But in today's world, we are so toxic from all the cooked foods that going raw just won't do the job anymore.
So the way to get rid of it all is fasting. When you fast, you first want to start with going on only fruits and vegetables(or just fruits) for at least a month. Then you want to do several fruit juice fasts on an off for about 8 months. Only after then, you can do a water fast. Start with a 1 day water fast, then move up to about 10 days. For up to 15 years of raw foods, do periodic 10 day water fasts. After 15 years of raw foods, you can then complete a 40 day water fast. This is the water fast that they did back in the days of Jesus. You have to be extremely healthy to do this though. Water fasting is for advanced raw foodists only.
Fasting breaks down the body and makes you skinnier and breaks down all the dead cooked food cells in the body, and that's what you want to do. You want your body to be hungry so it can rip the diseased tissue off your body. Then, the fruit juices that you drink every day replace those diseased tissues that your rips off from your body during fasting. What are the benefits of being on a Vegan Rawtarian DIet?
A raw vegan diet can be very healthy if you go about it correctly, as can a vegan diet that incorporates cooked food. Raw diets include lots of fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and leafy greens. Keep in mind that if your 'raw diet' consists of raw cheesecake, nut pates, and high calorie fruits/vegetables, you may not be getting the full benefits.

and download Kevin Gianni's "High Raw." It's free, and he talks a lot about the benefits of a high-raw vegan diet. He won't, however, give you in depth menu plans, etc (it's not a diet book, but more of a self-help/lifestyle book). He also puts up lots of great videos and he probably has more information about acne, weight loss, etc.
Also, it's always good to check out peer-reviewed scientific studies whenever you're looking to try and change your health. I always use PubMed.org, which is what all the Ivy league schools use to find studies for research papers!
It's cool that you're doing this! What are the benefits of being on a Vegan Rawtarian DIet?
"The word 'veganism' denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to end the idea of animals as property and exclude all forms of intentional exploitation of, use of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing, research or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, including people and the environment.
In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."
A diet is not vegan it maybe free of animal products but veganism is much more than a diet. Veganism is not about health or anything or anyone aside from the animals. It an ethical and moral imperative.
You can be on a raw diet and also be vegan but the two are quite mutually exclusive (aside from the fact the diet portion would have to fit into veganism)
This should give you the info to help start off veganism a lot easier:
