I am cutting out all sugar, caffeine, dairy, meat, and bread from my diet for 40 days. I plan on eating whole grains, fruits, and veggies and I'm eating basically a vegan diet. Can anyone help me figure out what types of things I can make for meals? Recipes would be helpful as well. Please help me I'm going on a vegan diet for 40 days?
Here's a small list of ideas.

Bread, pasta, cereal, rice, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies can easily offer everything that you need except B12.

All vegetarians should take a B12 supplement regularly since most people eat meat, dairy AND fortified cereals yet still have a B12 status that is lower than recommended.

It may help if you see proof that vegetarian people have the same potential as anyone else.

Please help me I'm going on a vegan diet for 40 days?
good for you.. i hope u stick to it after the forty days :)
well ive been told that im a very ummm "creative" eater...so bare in mind that some of these meals might be kinda wierd..
one thing i usually have would be like wholewheat pasta (just boiling it in water and salt).. with tomato sauce, and a side of vegetables like brocoly, cucumbers, corn...
and sometimes for a snack or lunch, ill have this wierd sandwich i created.. heres how u make it..
-get two slices of wholegrain bread and toast them
- chop two tablespoons of onions and put them in a non stick pan and put the heat on and just keep stiring them till they get golden
- then take the toast, put the onions, add about the same ammount of corn, and two slices of tomato, and a couple spoons of bbq sauce, a little black pepper and thats about it!
also i make a chocolate soy milk shake...
its basically just soy milk and chocolate powder (make sure its vegan tho) and put em in a blender, you can add crushed ice if u want...
if u want some more recipes u can go to goneraw.com
its got all these really healthy vegan food recipes
My friend is a vegan and when I go over to her house, she eats pasta and marinara sauce and pizza without cheese. She drinks soy milk and she eats pretty much anything without dairy butter milk and anything that you listed.
i hope this helped you. Please help me I'm going on a vegan diet for 40 days?
Look for an inexpensive used copy of "Becoming Vegetarian" they discuss the vegan and vegetarian diets in depth and also include many, many recipes and resources. Who knows after looking at this book you might end up switching! I did!
Bare with me, u would be a vegan forever.
It happened to me, and unable for me to make "u" turn.
Anyway, i feel much better about myself now.
Good luck!
just type in vegan or vegetarian recipes on google
good luck, i'm going on a battery hen diet.
