Do you believe a raw vegan diet can cure cancer?
Or any disease, really?Do you believe that a raw vegan diet cure pretty much every disease; but most importantly, cancer?
It may help to "prevent" disease, but it isn't nor would it ever be a cure. I was diagnosed with pre-cancer of the breast while still omnivore, and due to my health went to a raw vegan diet. At the time I chose to eat that way more for energy levels and general wellbeing. It helped, but ultimately I went back to cooked food (but still Vegan) with a smaller portion of raw still included.
Diet plays an important factor in taking care of the human body. But there are other factors that trigger cancers and disease apart from diet alone. Genetics play a role in diagnosis of some cancers, and some others are predisposed to it due to environmental, social and personal physical attributes. There are some foodstuffs which are known to aggravate certain diseases, and some others that are known to help. BUT of course that doesn't mean a Vegan or a Raw Vegan for that matter will never get cancer, or that it is a cure/be-all-end-all. After being Raw Vegan and Vegan in general I still have the pre-cancer in my breast. If it was a definite cure then my own case would have resolved itself by now, which it hasn't of course. I'll be watching my body for life. There is no such thing as a dietary comfort zone for miraculous cures.Do you believe that a raw vegan diet cure pretty much every disease; but most importantly, cancer?
Whether anyone "believes" it or not, people HAVE reversed cancer, as well as many other nearly-fatal illnesses through diet. I know that the diet would have to be 100% vegan, but I think it would not necessarily have to be 100% raw. It would likely have to be high raw and very well planned, including lots of dark leafy greens, fresh juices, sprouted plants, etc. It HAS been done. Its not a matter of opinion. But that doesn't mean that diet can cure any cancer, or even the same kind of cancer in any person.
Belief %26amp; empirical evidence are two completely opposite things, unless a team of scientists experienced in the various fields of biology/chemistry got together %26amp; performed rigorous testing with the right scientific method, and in the end the results showed to be positive.......then i would be wary of believing straight up that the likes of cancer etc can be gotten rid of by diet alone. There are so many factors to be taken into account for trials.
Holfords studies show diet to be a major part in reversing %26amp; prevention of common diseases %26amp; books like The China Study apparently tell a similar study. However the topic is so muddled that i personally as an amateur do not know what to believe, All i can say is that a natural high based plant diet is healthier in studies than what the typical westerner consumesDo you believe that a raw vegan diet cure pretty much every disease; but most importantly, cancer?
a lot of the people who are the opposite end up eating stuff like mcdonalds frequently so its not much of a comparison but since you are eating more vegetables you have more vitamins and so you can fight off sicknesses a little easier but cancer isnt a disease... as a man of science cancer is mutated cells that didnt get flushed out of your system and can be caused by anything especially just being outside but dont worry bout cancer its still as often as 1970s so its not like you have a higher chance
I dont know about eating only raw food. But after my mom had me she was diagnosed with cancer. She didnt want to have to take all the meds they gave her and have surgeries. SO she did her own research. She became vegetarian and ate healthy and the cancer went away and shes been cancer free for 17 years. No chemotherapy required! Dr. Dean Ornish has many studies published showing a plant based diet can stop or reverse heart disease and cancer.Do you believe that a raw vegan diet cure pretty much every disease; but most importantly, cancer?
No. Cancer patients needs all the vitamins and proteins from a varied meal. If anything it would make it worse if you suddenly switch from being a meat eater to a vegan, since the blood sugar will drop and important substances will be missing. It can be fatal.
well, its not a scientific fact but yes, it helps A LOT I know a few ppl tht had cancer so went on a raw diet and made sure they ate A LOT of vegis and fruits (tomatos a lot cuz it also prevents cancer) and they were better ;)
Probably, look it up. The average Y!A user will know little about raw diets, and will assume that they're health-freak-bogus, so investigate into online raw food communities. People who actually eat these diets on a daily basis will know their effects better than even a qualified nutritionist's best guess.
do you mean straight edge vegan?
while not eating red meat prevents cancer theres no way in hell being vegan cures it.
also those medicinal herbs straight edge vegans take can't compare to modern medicine.
so no, it can't really cure anything
There is no scientific evidence that it has cured any disease, or proved that it is healthier then eating cooked food.
Um, no.
no its not possible
No. But anyone can choose to believe whatever they want. That does not make it true, though. And eventually biology will rear it's ugly head and people go back to eating pretty much what I already eat: some meat, some veggies, some fruit, restrict processed carbs and sugar.
That's why 3 out of 4 vegetarians eventually go back to eating meat....according to a CBS news poll. There aren't enough vegans to even count what % of them go back to eating meat.
Of course I don't believe that, I'm not an idiot.
