You really don't need to consume a lot more calories while you are pregnant unless you are underweight to begin with. Just a couple hundred calories and you can easily get that with juice, nuts, avocado or fruit.

You can always eat things like pasta and bread, i'm vegan and i always get enough calories, even if you just eat fruits and veggies. My aunt had my cousin when she was a raw vegan and she came out totally healthy, just make sure you're getting enough nutrients and proteins!
I'm not sure, however I do recommend the book "Skinny Bltch: Bun in the Oven" by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin. I never read it, but I read two of their other books and these two ladies don't mess around. They tell everything to you straight up, no filter, no pussyfooting, and no lies. All their stuff is backed up by credible sources. How can you get enough calories on a vegan diet when you are pregnant?
Just eat more. A baby is like 8 LBs how much more calories would he/she need? I dunno. I am not an expert on that. I would just look for vegan foods that have higher calories or eat a little more of what you already do eat.

Nuts and healthy oils for cooking
Vegan diet? That's so unfair to the poor one growing inside you :(
Cake or pastries is a good idea.
