I am trying to find a vegan/raw food diet that provides all of the essential amino acids, 40-50 grams of protein, the majority of vitamins and minerals, without the use of soy since it has been proven to contain dangerous substances. Please advise. What is the perfect Vegan diet that provides all of the amino acids, vitamins and minerals without using soy?
Just use this the vegan food pyramid and food guide. You only need cut out the soy milk and use an alternative like rice, almond, hemp, or oat milk. Soy products made from mock meat can easily be eliminated by using any other types of beans in recipes along with a grain in order to make another meal. Just make sure to get vitamins B,, D,and folic acid through fortified cereals, plant-based milks, fortified nutriotional yeast flakes, fortified tempeh, Kombuca or something like that.

I've been eating soy of all types for 15 years, I'm 54 years old, low cholesterol, low blood pressure, 115 pounds, no chronic illnesses and work at manual labor.
Exactly what is soy doing to me? Besides providing protein?
If you prefer not to use soy products, there are lots of web sites and cookbooks for those who can't use soy. I only eat soy 2 times or so a week, anyway. There are beans, vegetables, pastas, salads, rice cheeses, rice milk, rice substitutes for cream cheese, sour cream and ice cream. But your best idea is to research on the web or go to a large bookstore and search for a non-soy nutrition book. So many recipes don't have soy that you shouldn't have a problem.
And new vegans/veggies worry too much about amino acids, minerals and vitamins. Find a good vegan vitamin supplement and just forget the worry. What is the perfect Vegan diet that provides all of the amino acids, vitamins and minerals without using soy?
The first responder is right, raw food is the way to go (ultimately).
Also, fermented soy is not really bad for you, just the non-fermented kind. If you are able to try miso or tempeh, these are fermented and nutritious versions of soy.
I don't eat any non-fermented soy because it does nothing for my body. What is the perfect Vegan diet that provides all of the amino acids, vitamins and minerals without using soy?
The perfect vegan diet that will provide you with all the nutrients you need is raw vegan.
There are hundreds of raw vegan websites, do a Google search.
Good places to start are:

By the way, raw vegans don鈥檛 use soy because soy by-products (milk, cheese and tofu) have all been cooked.
