I think it can work for anyone if done properly and if they're committed to it. In some autoimmune disorders, a vegan diet has been shown to help. Check out these sites for nutritional info.Vegan diet?
It can be if you make sure you're getting the proper nutrition and food. if your having problems with being vegetarian maybe you're not eating right and id say that you should hold off becoming vegan for now =)Vegan diet?
I don't know that it's right for everyone, but if you are having immune problems you might look into macrobiotics. Christina Pierello on the PBS show "Christina Cooks" cured her cancer 20 years ago with diet. I have two of her cookbooks and they are both wholefood vegan. I think you get good trace minerals and nutrients by eating sea vegetables and grains other than corn, wheat, and rice. If you are eating dairy, that might be what your immune system is trying to get rid of. I just turned some people to wholefood vegan diet and the 50 year old man's arthritis is just about gone after ditching dairy. He is doing yard work for the first time in 6 years and is delighted. Good luck on your quest.Vegan diet?
A vegan diet is fine but you may have to take supplements...talk to your doctor just to be safe. Vegan diets aren't bad and have several benefits.
