What does a vegan diet include?

I'm 12 and i weigh around 136 lbs and I'm 5'3" I'm want to loose weight 1. be healthier 2. Look better than I do now. I already play sports in the fall I play field hockey in the winter basketball and for spring I play soccer and I only drink water and 1% milk. I just want to know what is a vegan and what's in there diet. And is it a good Idea to go vegan until I loose the weight I want?What does a vegan diet include?
A healthy vegan diet includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts/seeds, beans, and grains (cereal, pasta, ect).

As long as you're not eating garbage, you should easily lose weight. Aim for around 1200-1500 calories and drink water and water only.What does a vegan diet include?
A vegan diet does not include any animal-derived products, such as meat, fish, milk, eggs, butter or cheese.



It does include non-animal products such as vegetables and fruits (including potatoes), grains (bread, rice, oatmeal, etc.), beans (including lentils), nuts etc. It is rather difficult to manage a vegan diet if you're dependent on your (non-vegan) parents to provide food, and not shopping and cooking for yourself.



And veganism is not a weight-reduction diet per se. It's easy to get sufficient or too many calories on a vegan diet. So since you need to eat carefully and practice portion control anyway, you might as well just try dieting normally without going vegan.



Eat less meat, sweets, fatty or fried foods and junk food. Eat 1200 - 1500 calories, with at least five servings of fruits and vegetables, per day.What does a vegan diet include?
well i know some things THEY DONT EAT:
beef
pig
chicken
turkey
chocolate
cheese
peanut butter
eggs
cake
cookies
icecream
if u became vegan it wouldnt be for the right reasons im not criticizing but just get on a diet im dont eat red meat im 12 -5'-5'' 163 pounds i NEED to lose weight you are fine I AM SORRY BEFORE I DIDNT PROOF READ you would be giving up alot of things but its your choice SORRY AGAIN:)What does a vegan diet include?
I eat food:)



Examples: Fried tofu, vegetables, fruit, cinnamon almonds, orange juice, (that doesn't have lanolin in it), pretzels, bread, LOTS of cereal, legumes, cashews, vegan cookies, protein bars
Just cut out the junk food from your diet to be healthier but you don't need to lose weight and being vegan doesn't mean that you will lose weight only if your obese and your not so just cut out the bad stuff
