How do I backpack on a vegan diet?

Im vegan and want to backpack across america. Any tips for little cash and back country meals?How do I backpack on a vegan diet?
Well i went on my Duke of Ed expodition a few months ago, and i was vegan at the time.

I packed things like Bean Feast which is really tasty and cooks in hot water,

also, i took cashew nuts and vegan chocolate bars to eat during the day for an energy boost :)
