I'm pretty sure I'm going vegan, I already have a general idea but I would like to see what you do, so maybe I can find some ways to incorporate more of a variety into my diet as of opposed to what i have now. What is your completely vegan diet?
I can not tell you what meals I eat everyday, because I don't eat the same meals everyday. I can however tell you what most of my meals consist of.
I eat lots of fruits, vegetables, sea vegetables, seeds, beans, buts, rice, low carb pasta, lentils, sprouts, a ton of herbs, lots of water, and lots of green tea.
It really depends on what I have around the house. If I have a variety of vegetables, I will make myself a nice salad, or vegetable soup. If I have beans and rice, I will make vegan burritos.
The only things that I do have everyday are smoothies, and tea. What is your completely vegan diet?
I'm really busy! So this is an outline of my diet.
Breakfast (almost always) consists of:
high protein granola bars
raw nuts
fresh fruit
lunch:
hummus and veggie wrap
chickpea wraps with veggies tahini and lemon
fresh fruit
Snacks:
I basically always have bags of trail mix in my purse/ car preferably one with unsulfured fruits and raw/unsalted nuts. I also sometimes bring some baby carrots or fresh fruit
Dinner varies but a typical dinner may consist of: tofu stir fry, curried veggies, tofu fajitas, all of which with brown rice or quinoa. I usually try to incorporate all types of beans/chick peas/ edamame into my meals for varied protein.
I use hemp milk in coffee/tea for omega's
I also try to incorporate flax into my diet as an egg substitute or wherever else I can for omegasWhat is your completely vegan diet?
Breakfast: frozen fruits, banana, tbs flaxseed ground, half a scoop soy protein, and soymilk for a smoothie. Or, organic unsalted peanut butter on organic whole wheat toast with a fruit.
Lunch: salad with healthy lettuce, preferably organic, with a variety of nuts and dried fruit toped with olive oil and fresh lemon squeeze.'(1/8 of a lemon to be exact). You can change it up however you like to eat lunch, I find this the easiest, and I usually add a fruit with it as well.
Dinner: I like to make a bean burrito with whole wheat organic tortilla, add in lettuce, salsa, and vegan cheese, with a side dish of veggies. You can do anything from whole wheat pasta with vegan sauce and brown rice. There is soup you can make and tons of recipes online if you would like to have extravagant meals.
Being vegan is expensive in a sense, because it is so healthy. I just recently bought vegan sugar, ranch, butter, and a ton of other stiff. Cost me a shitload of money! But I made yummy vegan cookies :) goodluck! What is your completely vegan diet?
I have been Vegan for over 2 years now. It allows me to look like that:

First you need to clean out your kitchen and make it an "animal abuse free" environment.
Stock up on good organic oils. Sunflower, olive, coconut, walnut.
Use "Earth Balance" buttery spread.
Buy plenty of whole grains : Oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, rice, buckwheat, lentils, beans etc
Stock up on nuts : walnuts, pecans etc
There are Boca Vegan patties and Morning Star "Chicken Strips" that are not very expensive and available at Wal-Mart and other stores.
Milk can be easily substituted for Coconut milk, Soy and Almond milk.
Look for Dairy Free ice-cream (my fav. is Raspberry sorbet).
Read the label. I promise you, once you get a hang of it, you will start shopping for your fuel like a pro.
I love my Vegan Diet and I never worry about gaining weight.
P.S. BTW, go to Taco Bell and try one of their 7 layer burritos with no cheese and no sour cream and extra guacamole and dip it into the green sauce. Yum :) I just had one for dinner. Because it has no cheese, it does not upset your stomach, Usually, cheese and beans combination does.
my friend is vegan and she doesn't cook she eats takeout all the time.
vegan food/substitutes are really expensive.
