How do you keep up a healthy amount of protein in a vegan diet, with a pre-existing condition?

I have to eat a lot protein daily, due to medications; and have been just fine on a vegetarian diet now for a month. I do not want to continue eating dairy or eggs; any suggestions on how to maintain my protein intake without them? Does anyone know of any good cookbooks or websites? Thank you. :)How do you keep up a healthy amount of protein in a vegan diet, with a pre-existing condition?
Lots of vegan foods have a good amount of protein, e.g. cashew nuts, couscous and broccoli. By cutting out dairy and eggs you will reduce the amount of fat you eat, rather than the amount of protein. If you have a medical condition then ask your doctor for a consultation with a nutritionist to get professional advice. How do you keep up a healthy amount of protein in a vegan diet, with a pre-existing condition?
Try books on vegan diet.

Nuts and many other things(like Lentils and other cerials non breakfast type, most can be germinated and eaten raw) are very good in proteins. But if you have this problem then why take chance, stay with what works but see if there are books on vegan. You said cookbooks! Vegan do not cook they indulge in raw items as far as my understanding goes, but what do I know, I am 68 years old and going on 80!How do you keep up a healthy amount of protein in a vegan diet, with a pre-existing condition?
You can't. No vegetable has complete proteins, which humans need. They only have incomplete proteins. This is why people need some type of meat. Just because you survived on that diet doesn't mean you are healthy. Look at all the fat asses that eat junk food all day. They are alive but are they healthy? No. Just eat chicken and fish along with your veggie diet. How do you keep up a healthy amount of protein in a vegan diet, with a pre-existing condition?
Tofu!
