Basically I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian I've been a vegetarian for about a year and I've lost about a stone but I'm wondering will I lose weight if I start living by a vegan diet?Can i lose weight going by a vegan diet?
if you only eat veggies...you will lose tons of weight...but also lose tons of nutrition....
....fish.....chicken and a bit of dairy is good for the body.....remmeber, we were not meant to just eat veggies...you can become quite vit/mineral dificient on it.
My husband knew a pilot who was a vegan,,,,he died at an early age because he was so dificient of many other nutrients...
remember..a balance.........of foods is what we need. not tipping the scale on one and throwing the others away. your body needs many other things besides veggies......and if you dont eat them once in a while....that dificiency will cause some health problems....like hair falling out......immune problems......stomach problems.........bowl problems......
so lets avoid them all..............eat in balance......80% veggies and the rest=.......a little of everything
